Strittmatter Food Drive
The Strittmatter Plumbing, Heating & AC team is grateful for over 40 years of service to our amazing community, and we believe giving back is an important responsibility that we take very seriously.
That’s why the Strittmatter team is honored to host a food drive from November 1-11, 2022 in support of First Refuge. First Refuge has been serving the Denton community since 2012 and provides support through its food program, along with creating access to other essential services. We are inviting our team, friends, family members, and customers to take part in this meaningful opportunity to be a difference-maker in the lives of others.
In alignment with our core values, here’s how Strittmatter will support this mission:
- EXCELLENCE: In order to be the best, you must take the BEST care of people. That’s why we’re excited to host a food drive for our local community.
- INTEGRITY: Doing the right thing means helping those around you without hesitation. In addition to the food drive, we are honored to match $1 per pound of food collected to make a monetary donation to First Refuge so they are able to purchase priority food items at a deeply discounted rate.
- RESPECT: Our team believes there is no greater respect than treating others with kindness and compassion. That’s why we want to support those in our community that needs our help the most.
- INNOVATION: Through the use of innovative technology, our team will reach out to over 40,000 people to invite them to support our mission to bless a multitude of people. Our team will utilize social media, email, and text messaging to enlist the help of our employees, friends, family members, and customers.
Interested in supporting our team’s mission? We would be so grateful. You’re welcome to donate your non-perishable items directly to a Strittmatter technician if they are providing service at your home or you can drop them off at our main office located at: Strittmatter Plumbing, Heating & AC1301 Bridges Street Denton, TX 76208 Below are some non-perishable food items that are most needed at this time:
- Canned Vegetables
- Chicken (5 oz. cans)
- Rice (1-2 lb. bags)
- Sugar (2 or 4 lb. bags)
- Crackers (Saltine, Ritz, Graham)
- Beans (1-2 lb. bags)
- Mac & Cheese (boxed)
- Soups
- Peanut butter & jelly (reg. size)
- Canned fruit
- Pancake mix
- Tuna (5 oz. cans)
We are so excited to take part in this amazing opportunity and invite you to help support our mission! In lieu of a food donation, you are welcome to make a monetary donation directly through the First Refuge site.
