Fall weather is on the way! Who else is excited for crunchy leaves, shorter days, and cooler temperatures? It might be another month before you need to turn on your furnace for the first time of the season. But you can take steps right now to ensure that everything is in proper working order. Having an expert technician inspect your furnace once a year is the best way to keep your family warm and safe. Never had a tuneup before? Don’t worry! We’re here to walk you through all the benefits of preventative maintenance.

First of all- how do tuneups work?

If you’ve never had a tuneup before, it’s easy to get started. Call our office at 940-566-1122 and the Strittmatter team will find a time that works best for you to visit your home. Once your tuneup day arrives, you will receive a phone call from our team when your SuperTech is on the way.

Upon arrival, your SuperTech will introduce themselves to you and get started on your furnace. After your SuperTech finishes the tuneup, they will go over what they did and any issues they found plus recommendations.

Why Fall Preventative Maintenance Is Important

What exactly does a tuneup do?

There are several key benefits of preventative maintenance. A tuneup gives our SuperTechs the opportunity to identify any issues with your furnace before they become major breakdowns. Being able to proactively correct these issues saves you money in the long run and prevents the stress of an unexpected problem. With a tuneup, you’ll know that your equipment is running at peak capacity and not wasting money in the process.

What kind of benefits does a tuneup provide?

Having your furnace inspected will also reduce your chances of a fire. Did you know that heating equipment is responsible for 15% of all home fires? At Strittmatters, we want to make sure your family is as safe as possible. And that means that our SuperTechs will check all aspects of your system to make sure you, your family, and your pets are safe this season.

When your heating system is up to date, it will use less energy to heat your home. Not only will you be saving money on your monthly energy bill, but you will also be doing your part to help the environment.
