As the temperatures rise, so does your utilities bill! Check out a couple quick ways you can save a little more energy and a little more money.

1) Give the outlets a break! It doesn’t matter if it’s your phone charger or your toaster, electronic devices continue to use energy even when they aren’t in use. Unplug these items when you aren’t using them to save a little more energy.

2) Turn off fans. Fans are meant to cool a person, not a room. So if you leave a room, hit the fan on the way out.

3) Schedule yearly maintenance on your cooling system. Every spring, schedule a precision tune up with Strittmatters. We will come out and give your system a complete check to make sure it is running as efficiently as possible!
